鋭角と曲線が交差するダイナミックな造形にもかかわらず、表面を覆う藁白釉が柔らかな光をまとうことで、全体としては優雅で静謐な印象に落ち着きます。茶席の落ち着いた照明の下では、白と赤褐色のコントラストがより一層際立ち、客人の視線を引き寄せて離しません。

胴はほぼ完全な球に近い量感を持ち、底部でわずかに絞り込んで高台へ接続されています。水を張ると重心が自然に下がり、安定感が高まる実用的設計です。
